VIP Familiarisation Weekend

This weekend visit was attended by some of the U.K's top agency, corporate and association group organisers, including representatives from Lloyds TSB, British Energy and the Oracle Corporation, all active members of the Group Travel Organisers Association.

The weekend focused on selling Bournemouth's range of accommodation, its idyllic setting, superb entertainment, fine dining restaurants and chic bars.

A full Bournemouth experience was arranged by the team which included hotel accommodation from Friday through to Sunday. Welcome drinks and dinner took place at the Ink Bar and Print Room in Bournemouth's town cntre. Saturday morning saw presentations from the organisers, followed by a tour of Setley Ridge Vineyard in the New Forest, lunch at the prestigious Chewton Glen Hotel. A pre-show dinner was held at 1812 where guests then hopped over the road to watch the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra present Symphonic Queen at the BIC. The visit came to a close on Sunday after a tour of Poole Pottery and a farewell lunch at Hotel du Vin in Poole.
