New BICB Sales Co-ordinator

Ben's new role involves boosting the membership of the BICB, which includes hotels, venues and support services.
Ben will also get involved in the marketing of the BICB, which works to bring business to Bournemouth and promote the town as a key business destination.

Having formerly worked at Bournemouth Tourism in Sales and Marketing, Ben was responsible for producing tourism publications and promoted Bournemouth as a leisure destination, working on projects like the More Bus Bournemouth Air Festival and the Surf Reef. He also graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA Hons degree in Tourism Studies.

Ben says of his appointment: "Being local I am passionate about the area. Having previously worked on promoting Bournemouth as a leisure destination, it will be a new challenge to promote business tourism locally, nationally and internationally. I’m relishing the role of promoting Bournemouth’s conference facilities, which is a fast growing part of the local economy, and working to generate new business for Bournemouth and Poole."
